Contemporary Victorian Townhouse - walking distance to train station and Chester city centre

The house was spacious and clean, enough room for all not to be on top of one another.

There was limited tea (1 normal tea the rest herbal) and no milk upon arrival. We personally had a 4 hour drive and to not be able to have a basic supply of staples, considering the price, was disappointing. Hand sanitiser in main bathroom rather than soap was not favoured. We did not all have a bath towel, only two towels were left despite the booking being confirmed for 2 adults and 2 children. The noise on the road was phenomenal until late hours as I'm guessing the property is single glazed. I had no way to block this out and no warning to it, so while the bed was comfortable enough, I got very little sleep because of road noise but also people living / staying in close proximity. A final note for improvement (as requested by the host in their instructions) it would be great if your welcome note could include what to do in the local area, how to get to the city centre, what and where the local shops are, where the hospital is and the number in case of emergencies etc... and even an emergency number for yourself in case something was to happen. This is what I'm used to with such properties and is always well received. Also a guest book so we can write our own recommendations for others who stay who may have similar interests.

Clean,secure,everything you need is at this property for a long or short stay,ideal for a couple or family.We had a night out in Chester followed by shopping the next day,the property was ideal to retreat to for a well earned rest

Perfect location, very convenient for the railway station and the city centre. Well equipped property and very comfortable. Great communication from the property.

The checkout time was earlier than we'd hoped for but not a problem.

all of the property was beautiful. spacious rooms, beautifully decorated and within walking distance to the city centre.

nothing to dislike about the property. only little thing was the parking as we had to park on the street behind due to the on street parking all being taken up but that is out of the hands of the owners of the property.

Large terrace house, lovely deco. Massive bathroom, newly fitted kitchen with lots of cutlery and crockery. Small backyard to sit out on a warm day. Walking distance to centre of Chester, or less than £5 taxi fare.

Not good for parking. Lots of double yellow lines. Had to drive around to find a space, managed to eventually find a space but a good walk from the house. Not suitable for anyone disabled, lots of steps and on three floors.
