Welch House

The location was perfect. Close to Douglas town Tesco, restaurants and Tram.

Clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated.

Despite being opposite a 24 hour vehicle recovery building, we never heard any disturbance. There was a lovely village green adjacent/behind the house. There were 2 toilets & basins but there are stairs to navigate. We appreciated the cleaning materials, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc and a few more cloths would be welcomed. Loved having a washer/dryer, hair dryer and toiletries. There were plenty drawers and storage.

There were no microwave plate covers, nor casserole dishes for reheating. A smaller grill pan would be welcomed so it would be easier to clean. I think instructions for the shower and boiling tap would be useful. Spare towels would be welcomed too.

Welch House was a beautiful property, in a great location, lovely & clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would definetly book to stay again. Really enjoyed it.

Location was excellent close to supermarkets and restaurants. Close to Douglas and ideally situated for visiting local attractions. Accommodation exceeded our expectations, everything we needed was provided. Beautifully furnished to a very high standard and very comfortable and spacious.

There was nothing we did not like.
