The close access to the beach and Whitby as a whole, the beds were quite comfy, the kitchen facilities were mostly good the furniture was nice.

The Wi-Fi did not work and we contacted the point of call multiple times but this did not change and the phone service was very hit and miss in the property. The parking is a bad situation as the closes parking we could find was 20 minutes away when we were told this would be 5 minutes away one of our cars had upurposful damage to a tyre in the place we had left it parked (legally). When we arrived the wheelie bin in the small shed outside was overflowing and the bin in the kitchen had some items in. The TV aerial did not work so watching TV was not an option. Not all windows opened and one of the windows in the living room could be opened from the outside. The fridge was not cold and this did not adjust. The radiator on the right as you go into the living room was on full and there was no dial to turn it down and the thermostat was turned all the way down (no other radiators were on). The curtains in the 1st and ground floor windows were very thin and the rooms were very bright come morning. There were no door stops and when we arrived there was a fire extinguisher being used as a doorstop. We found that many of the plug sockets in the accommodation did not work and there is a lack of sockets in the bedrooms as most had 1 and that was taken by the lamps. The accommodation was not very well cleaned when we arrived and the pictures are very misleading to the looks especially in the living room/ dining room as it was very dark.
