Dune Cottage

Great location very close to the swing bridge so easy for both sides of Whitby. Nice cottage on 3 levels with good heating, bathroom, good shower flow and separate toilet on top floor. Easy to follow instructions. Basic galley kitchen and sitting area with tv downstairs. Good layout. Clean sheets , towels and tidy throughout.

Nothing major. Steps are all narrow access attic type between floors and steep so ok for us but be aware if limited mobility. No wifi so we used data as required.

Fantastic location, lovely and quirky. We would definitely stay here again.

Only drawback was that there wasn’t a great deal of space to put clothes in the top bedroom, but it didn’t bother us as we were only there 2 nights, but for longer stays it might be an issue.

Location was excellent. A very cosy, quirky cottage The sofas were very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. The description of property was very good pointing out the steep stairs up to bathroom and bedrooms which could be difficult for guests with mobility problems.

The mattress on the bed on the 1st floor was a little uncomfortable but apart from that no complaints at all.

Cottage lovely, new bathroom. Great shower. Location very handy for everything. Kids loved it. Good value for Whitby.

Could have done with a cafetière…..and that’s it.

The only thing was the mattress on the bed was in poor condition and not at all comfortable

Loved the location and it was nice and cosy. Also it was quirky we enjoyed our stay and we would stay again definitely

No WiFi but we coped until someone come to door and said that we had to be out as they said they had booked it proper stress that was but got sorted. The oven dosnt work as light kept going out so it was very slow.
