"We didn't like this place, seemed to be a small cut above staying in a travel trailer."

Location and comfort

No salt and pepper in the shakers provided and no real milk plus only 4 coffee sachets for 2 people 2 nights so just lacking there

"Perfect stay if you want explore Mount Cool and surrounding."

It had everything we needed and was very clean. Mount Cook and all the hikes and activities are still in a reasonable distance away. We would definitely stay here again. Twizel is a sweet little town with supermarkets and service stations.

The pan and chopping board must be replaced. We didn't use both. And hooks for the towels in the bathroom would be handy.

"Great place to stay for access to Aoraki at much more affordable price than the village"

Amazing how much is fitted into a small space. Everything we needed and a great hot shower. One night was well below freezing but the cabin was easy to keep warm.

"A nice stay close to Mount Cook and essentials"

The instructions and house rules were clear, the property was clean, the furnishings were nice. We appreciated being able to cook.

The experience could have been more relaxing and hospitable if the house rules were offered in a more warmer manner.
