Marine House Holiday Home

The location was excellent, with superb views of the harbour and a parking area provided. The house was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean with a very well equipped kitchen. Our host Fiona - was lovely, making us feel right at home from the outset. She provided us with valuable information and warm scones upon arrival.

You really can't get a better location than the Marine House. It was right on the harbor. Sunrises and sunsets were outrageously beautiful. It was a short (uphill) walk to the town and most restaurants. The owner left us scones and homemade jam. The kitchen was very well equipped. A big house. Lots of room. Fiona was lovely. Parking was right out front.

The Wifi got slow a few times when we were watching TV. The lock box was a little wonky and took a couple of tries to get the key out.

Fiona est une hôte très accueillante, sa maison est authentique, confortable et très bien équipée, avec une vue imprenable sur la baie de Portree. La place de parking devant l'entrée est un vrai plus. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

Tolle Lage mit Ausblick auf den Strand/Bucht. Nette Vermieter und großzügiges Haus mit guter Ausstattung. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus vorhanden.

C'est bien simple, j'ai tout aimé : - la maison est placée idéalement face à la mer - la maison est très propre et très bien rangée - la maison est très grande (3 grandes chambres, 1 lavabo dans chaque chambre, 1 baignoire, 1 douche et 3 wc) - la decoration est réalisée avec des objets achetés chez les commerçants de l'île - Fiona est très attentionnée sans être envahissante. Elle est adorable.

The location of the home was excellent. Just in front of the lake and it was beautiful waking up to views of sunrise through both front bedroom windows. It's a close less than 5 mins walk to nearby shops and restaurants. The entire home was sufficently warmly heated. Although there was no machine dryer, there was a heating rack which was very effective in drying the clothes after washing. The home was very clean and well kept. It had everything that made our stay very comfortable. The free private parking space provided in front of the home was a bonus. Finally, our host Fiona was such a lovely elderly lady. She lives next door and we would occasionally meet her as we moved in and out. She is so friendly, helpful and warm, it feels like she is an old friend, making us feel so welcomed in her home, especially when she gifted us with a pack of eggs. Overall, we would highly recommend Fiona's Marine House for anyone visiting Portree.

Marine House is in a spectacular location, perfectly clean, with all the facilities you could ask for. Being able to park at the front is a God send. Would recommend staying here to any one.

De ruimte, faciliteiten, netheid, gastvrijheid. Het was echt een fantastische accomodatie met een zeer mooi uitzicht. Geweldig! Het is in Portree supertoeristisch, maar je hebt in de avond en nacht nergens last van. Het is heel rustig.
