Steep stairs -top step across from bedroom to bathroom not good - better handrail -no light above basin for shaving -0ne table lamp in back bedroom left unplugged and socket not accessible as behind bed

Lovely and clean. Location is brilliant. Beds were comfortable and check in was super easy

No vacuum cleaner in the house. Parking was putside the house on the road, which was fine except one evening when was full so had yo use the car park which is 24 hour pay n display

Amazing location - 2 minute walk to the Cathedral. Nice touch for the hosts to provide a parking permit. There was parking outside the house and in the surrounding streets, but you needed to find the Zone the parking permit applied to. Fairly big car park just next door, but needed to pay extra as permit didn't apply there. Pub with nice food very nearby. Beds in 2 main bedrooms comfortable - bed settee needed cleaning and its own bedding pre-prepared and in a clean container.

The carpet - very stained and smelly. Wallpaper - 1980s woodchip everywhere and coming away from many areas of the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. Bedsettee - smelly, host had left duvet and pillows in an understairs cupboard so we were dubious of the cleanliness and we couldn't find any covers. Staircase - very steep. If you are changing the carpet I would suggest putting a different, light colour on the stairs so they are well defined when you step down. Please clean under the beds. Instruction to supply the electric to the shower needed next to pull cord. One of our party checked into the hotel down the road so this 2 day trip cost twice as much as it should have done. You have a great investment there but need to upgrade everything to a better standard, with a cohesive decor style.

Ideally located for Lincoln cathedral and castle and medieval streets around. Only a 5 minute walk to attractions and local shops, restaurants and pubs.

Parking may be difficult if there is an event on at the castle. We had two cars, but the property only has one parking permit. There is a car park next door but it is small so parking difficult at busy times.
