General wear and tear making it feel more rub down that it actually is

Comfortable amd very close to the cathedral

Cleaning wasn't up to scratch as we found a few bits of litter around the house,

Great location, very comfortable beds and quiet at night. Parking permit provided by the host. Nice touch providing milk, tea bags, coffee etc.

Some of the furnishings and decor is a little outdated.

Location and great pub behind. No nonsense owners

Poor shower. Tv too complicated for us oldies

Fabulous location; easy to find; perfect to walk to local sights; well equipped.

Mattresses were not very comfortable.

Location! Location! Location! And the real bonus was the parking permit! We stayed for two nights and never moved the car. A 10 minute walk to the Cathedral Quarter. Nice sized dining room and kitchen had all the necessities except for a tea pot. A short drive to a Tesco Extra. Very quiet at night even with the windows open.

Very narrow steep stairs to a very narrow landing without a proper handrail. For elderly people or anyone with limited mobility this wasn’t ideal.

The location was excellent for a trip to Lincoln. The kitchen was equipped to high level and was clean. We had a problem with the boiler as there was no hot water and Rachel (letting agent) was very quick and helpful. We had a lovely two night stay and slept very well.

There are areas of the house that need some attention. Three out of seven lamps worked, even with new bulbs. The drainage in the bath was terrible and filled up when showering, bringing hair up from the plughole. The air duct in the bathroom was full of dust and cobwebs which fell on you when having a bath. The microwave was moved to fix the boiler and there was a lot of leftover food underneath. The outside courtyard is lovely, but strewn with cigarette butts, which is a shame for such a fab space with a view of the cathedral.
