Hygge Homes - Modern 1 bed house

Lovely spacious home away from home. Loved being able to sit outside in backyard. Great having washing machine and clothesline outside for washing. Especially loved having the coffee pod machine 😍 Thanks so much to the host for letting us access property earlier

Nothing we didn't like but a small coffee table in lounge for when unable to sit outside with coffee or wine would be perfection!

Garden needs attention, very overgrown & untidy TV was unusable except for BBCi player..almost as if the TV was not connected to either an ariel or the SKY hub

Good location for driving into Lincoln. Close to supermarkets, Aldi within walk distance. The property was easy to find when you read the instructions properly. On site parking directly outside. The garden was a good bonus, we did manage to sit out for a while. Beware anyone from up North, this is a soft water area, it's not possible to get a good cuppa. We couldn’t go the weekend without a decent cup of tea so bought bottled water and a kettle! The kitchen is well equipped with pans, cutlery, crockery etc, a couple of wooden spoons would make cooking easier. Yes, there a couple of scuff marks in the hallway, but who cares, that's not going to spoil your stay. It's lovely decorated and good sized property. The accommodation is very well equipped it had most items needed for a weekend stay. A nice touch is the availability of hand-soap by every sink and a shower gel dispenser.

Not a dislike as such, but a few minor adjustments would take this property to 10/10. It's stylishly decorated, but I feel it's been designed by a tall man. I couldn't see myself at all in the mirror in the downstairs toilet. The chest of drawers in the bedroom where the TV is would benefit from a mirror to be able to dry hair and apply makeup. The living room would benefit from a couple of side tables by the sofa for drinks and would be much more cosy and softer with a rug. The advertising is a little confusing as there seems to be two listings, with different reviews, for the same property on Newark Road. We opted for the cheaper listing. I don't think a hairdryer was listed in the facilities so I took one with me, there is one available.

Nice place, booked for a couple of my staff and they said it was easy to find and access, would use again!

EVERYTHING, This property is in my top 10 in the country for perfect place to stay.. Had everything, and just such a shame it's rented next week, as im back there again. Beautiful kitchen, with everything you need, smart TV and surround sound system which was awesome as I had a CD which I had been wanting to play for months from back in the Day and couldn't, The bed was like a dream, and area so quiet. And parking right outside the door. Absolute pleasure to stay there

Very clean,lots of towels &bedding .Very modern kitchen & bathroom.

Trouble with the TV which the owner did try to fix,comfortable bed but very squeaky & the settee was a little on the small side.

Stayed as a family, 2 adults and 2 children. Was used more as a base to stay as we were out most of the day. Stayed over xmas period, owners had put a xmas tree in the living area and left us some milk in the fridge 😀 loved the coffee pods 😀 everything was easy to use or locate.
