Hygge Homes - Modern 1 bed house

Tucked away, very modern, clean and spacious rooms. Very well equipped kitchen and all throughout very well thought and modern. The garden was an added bonus!! That I was able to use in the nice weather.

Accommodation was clean.

Lack of communication from staff, they need to appreciate that this is key to a good stay. They had trouble responding to the most basic queries BUT responded quickly when I informed them about a leak. The pump for the shower makes an unreasonable amount of noise and after a short time makes an even louder thumping sound. They changed wifi change without updating this information for guests. Then when they informed us how to find new code, this was incorrect also. They advertise Netflix but this is not true. They do not have access to it and when I asked the staff, they ignored my message..... The sofa bed is stained with blood and is very worn.

It was cosy and comfortable and felt like home

The hot water pump made a loud noise whenever it was turned on in the shower - I complained to the host and it’s going to be fixed The hot water works though, just the noise which stops once you’re done showering

Warm and nicely decorated cosy house, comfortable bed and lovely en suite, close enough to walk into Lincoln

No coffee pods although in the photographs 🤔 , no oven gloves or tea towel. Would have been handy to have hair dryer although that wasn’t in the listing and understand that they do get taken by mistake .

The house was very well equipped

The sofa bed in the kitchen is quite old and not very comfortable

Could feel the springs on the mattress so obviously needs replacing Deafening noise coming from the shower - plumber's problem On a really cold day took about 8 hours for heating to get up to a decent temp - maybe turning it on a tad for travellers to be greeted with a warm house .

Ideal place to stay for a visit to the uni open day. My daughter and I walked to the uni along the river. House was warm on arrival and it was easy to find and park.Shower was good and water hot. Well equipped.

We were using the sofa bed and it took a little while to find the bedding and work out which items we were supposed/wanted to use. Once it was set up it was comfy enough.

It was everything a couple would need, small cosy place with a lovely kitchen with breakfast bar. Quiet area but still close to supermarkets and the centre.

Very clean and comfortable with all facilities you would expect. Liked the parking and convenient location, walking distance to Aldi and a short drive into Lincoln centre. A cosy home from home.

The only small issue was that the wardrobe hangers were too high for me to reach, as was the mirror in the downstairs toilet, I am on the short side though! 😁
