2 Hope Cottage

Warm, cosy cottage. Comfy bed, thoughtful touches like milk and plum loaf. Lovely garden. Idyllic setting and off road parking. Good range of facilities in the cottage.

Can't think of anything negative apart from slight fishy smell in the kitchen.

Cute and peaceful property, very warm.

Directions to property could have been better and a map would be ideal. 2 Hope Cottages is on google maps…but in the wrong place. Very hard to find in the dark. Head height in bathroom is very restricted.

The location, the cottage and facilities, the peace and quiet, the size of the cottage, all the home comforts, places to walk the dog for dog walkers and very good value for money. Lovely area, and pleasant locals.

The only thing that we didn't like when we arrived, was the previous guests who stayed with their dog, did not clean up their dogs mess on the back garden. This was a job we did when we arrived. Its it the dog owners responsibility to clean up after their dog and NOT the cottage owners. Its a beautiful back garden and guests should appreciate this and look after it.

We both felt the cottage was depressing, too much brown colouring , didnt really relax . Shower was awful , very difficult to regulate the hot and cold water , a suggestion maybe a rug in the living room, and maybe 2 small lamps in the living room , one in alcove by tv, and one between the sofas , a smaller dining set would be better , table and chairs at moment too big for room.

Cottage was one of the best I have rented . Nothing had been overlooked in equipment etc.

Sloping ceiling in bathroom . Care needed when using although there were signs warning to "watch your head"

Everything was comfortable and made us feel at home. I fell off my bike and hurt myself so spent more time in the cottage than planned. I really appreciated all the home comforts, Netflix, seats in the garden. Rented holiday homes always have a few board games but I was immobilised and even had a go at learning backgammon! Thank you for the milk and plum loaf.
