2 Hope Cottage

The keys were in a key box, and easy to get. the sat nav doesnt take you directly to it, so look out for the driveway. There is parking for one car, even a large car. its attached to another property of the same name. The lounge was small and cosy. The tv is easy to navigate. The area is vey peaceful and quiet !! A great base for the local area. supermarket drive not far away ... not within walking distance though.

The kitchen utensils were very basic, and if i was to have cooked a roast for example, id have struggled. The bathroom, and especially the bathroom door are very low. At 5'6 I hit my head a few times. The garden is almost safe, but watch out for the hole in the hedge. Use an outside chair to wedge over the hole and its safe for dogs. the back door is wooden and gets wedged severely when it rains as it expands. I struggled to open it. A bit needs shaving off and insulation around the frame, or .... a new door.

Garden needs some new furniture

This was by far the most well equipped cottage I have booked! We were made to feel very welcome and the communication with the host was excellent. Well located for exploring the area and wonderfully quiet with a nice garden to sit out in. As they advise, your satnav will take you to the wrong spot (about 150m from the cottage) which is actually to the other side of the farm entrance.
