"Cute and cosy Bakewell cottage"

Loved the location ..open fire was a bonus as it was so cold.. the character of the cottage was cute.. so cosy..bed was like sleeping on a cloud with beautiful linen and fluffy towels...

It took awhile for the cottage to heat up when we arrived... as it was very cold..

"Snug cottage"

Super location, nice fitments, very comfy beds. Loved the open fire, lots of thoughtful touches, very warm property. Great hosts who have thought of everything.

Very steep stairs, we had an elderly relative who struggled a bit. All toilets are upstairs so was quite difficult for them. On the main road, but double glazing was efficient, especially as we were there a storm weekend.

"Amazing cottage in a perfect location"

Absolutely loved the cottage, it was so clean and comfortable. I don't think we've ever had accommodation that was so we'll equipped, we had everything we needed and more. Such comfortable big beds, and as it was near Christmas the cottage was tastefully decorated with little Christmas decorations . The cottage is in a great location, perfect for visiting Bakewell and nearby attractions, ie Chatsworth House.

Loved how this cottage had been refurbished to a high standard and the hosts had added lots of extras like scented candles, make up remove cloths, slippers and many things that one forgets to take on holiday.

Directions to the property and how to park could have been clearer. Getting a parking ticket because I put the permit upside down on the dashboard in the dark and not realising it wasn't printed on both sides! Would have liked offer of milk to be ready in fridge on arrival.

"Great long weekend"

Lovely well appointed, quite spacious cottage which is perfectly placed for exploring the area.

Very minor point the second room only has small beds.
