Heather Cottage Bakewell

Our friends stayed instead of us, as we had a family crisis. They rated it highly and enjoyed their stay.

I can't comment as we didn't go.

The location perfect for everything even walking into town.

Problem with the shower on second floor which does need resolving.

Very nice, clean and well appointed cottage in a great central location. Unfortunately on the corner of a main road so constant traffic noise which meant that we couldn't have the windows open at night during a heatwave! If you're out most of the day it probably won't bother you too much.

The cottage was amazing, very spacious for two people and could comfortably accommodate four. The location was just a minutes walk from Bakewell center. Easily accessible for day trips out of town. It was extremely clean and had all you needed for your trip. They have lots of added extras, even a well stocked spice rack and other accompaniments, with an honest box, should you wish to use any. The little added extras made this place that extra special. Would highly recommend, and will certainly be returning.

The cottage is on one of the main roads out of town, but as we were out most of the time and with little to no traffic in the late hours, we hardly even noticed.

Great position for town

Lovely character cottage with great location in the heart of Bakewell. Both bedrooms large enough for adult couples with own bathroom

Small kitchen and no outdoor space, although these were minor pints we were aware of when booking. Not a problem as very close to all pubs, restaurants and Bakewell Tart shops

Carolyn and Richard with fantastic hosts. The house was beautiful and everything was thought of, we would definitely recommend!
