"Really enjoyable stay."

Great location in the town and very comfortable beds.

Noise from road was a little loud. No obvious place to dispose of waste other than recycling. We took ours into town and found a public bin. But felt there must be a black waste collection. Maybe we misunderstood the check out instructions.

"Characterful stone cottage close to the centre of Bakewell."

This was a self catering cottage, full of character and original features. It was beautifully maintained and well equipped. The location would be hard to beat, just a short walk into Bakewell with all it's shops, cafes and pubs. Parking wasn't a problem as we were given a visitors parking permit to use in the residents parking spaces in the surrounding streets. We never had a problem finding a place to park which was close by the house. I wouldn't hesitate to have a return visit.

"Fabulous property next to town centre."

Very clean, well equipped and cosy. 2 large ensuite bedrooms with comfortable beds. Great location, 5 minute walk to town centre and parking outside property with permit supplied. Easy check in and hosts nearby. Fabulous property, would recommend.

"The countryside around Bakewell is absolutely stunning and this was a great place to stay."

Very comfortable cottage, with nice details. Plenty of comfortable seating and ample storage space, well equipped kitchen, good shower, all nicely decorated.

Was a bit concerned about busy road, but there was barely any traffic at night, so our sleep was not disturbed. The single beds might be a bit tight for bigger teens or grown-ups, but were fine for our boys.

Lovely cottage, perfectly situated near the centre of town. Very well appointed and stocked

The steps were quite steep, being an old cottage. However, as there is no toilet on the ground floor, my elderly mum had to climb the stairs every time when the facilities were needed
