The Nook, Morpeth Town

Quiet location. Small, but everything we needed for a weekend stay.

Parking near the property was difficult.

Well equipped kitchen. Good location, just a short walk from shops, cafes and excellent leisure centre. And very responsive hosts.

Pillows. Minimal natural light.

Cosy and compact. Within walking distance of the town centre. Well maintained and well equipped property

Nothing. The only slight drawback was we had to park a long way away on the second day but were prepared for that.

Location was good and was handy for the town centre. The property was small but warm and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, albeit no microwave oven.

A microwave would have been handy, although this is probably restricted by the space available.

The property was in an excellent location. Close to everything. There was parking next the property which was great. Was clean and good value for money. It had everything you needed.

The place smelled of damp so an air freshener or plug in could have been used for this. The pillows were a bit flat but that is down to personal preference.

Very handy for walking into town

Parking is not easy - no dedicated space to park. The dark green downstairs makes the space feel smaller and darker than it actually is.

Very cosy little cottage. Perfect for our 2 night stay. Ideal location to explore the area and a lovely walk into Morpeth town which has nice shops and some lovely places to eat.

We found a parking lace easily when we arrived but when we arrived back late the second night was more tricky to park.

Living Room a little gloomy and dark. Took a while to work the fancy microwave cooker.

The Nook was cosy and well placed within walking distance of the centre of Morpeth and also within a mile of the main A1 north. A great base for exploring Nortumberland.

Nothing to dislike.
