"A wonderful cottage in a beautiful part of the world."

Jenny & Peter were great hosts. Jenny gave us a lovely warm welcome and our Cottage was wonderful - spacious, comfortable, clean and in a fantastic location. Peter knocked on our door each morning with a tray of freshly baked breads, croissants / banana bread for breakfast. The cottages are a stones-throw away from Russell which really is an idyllic place to visit in the Bay. We had an amazing time in the beautiful Bay of Islands - thank you Jenny & Peter.

"An enjoyable stay - peaceful and relaxing, with a nice water view which was mainly what we wanted"

Breakfast - home made/baked muesli, bread, scones, muffins & cookies, jams were lovely. The bed and bathroom linen was of very good quality. Overall the accommodation was well appointed and self contained.

Signage was not so clearly visible, particularly first one on street corner - generally plants overhanging, dark colour Entrance not so inviting/welcoming, vegetation has become overgrown and also track down through bush to the water edge and clearing (area looking rather tired/unkempt, no so inviting)

Solitude view and cleanliness

Actual property was different to what we thought we had booked based on images online which didn’t specify which actual cottage we paid for thought we had a detached villa with separate lounge albeit ended up with a very comfortable detached smaller villa , some internal and external updating is due to keep as a great hideaway

This stay was wonderful in every way. Our host Peter and his wife were exceptional. The cottage was beautiful with an outstanding view and location. Breakfast was fresh, homemade breads and pastries every morning along with cereals, fruit and other well stocked items in the kitchenette.

"A piece of heaven!"

Every detail had been thought through. From tissues to alfoil, it was all there to use. Lots of homemade baked goods - yummy! Gorgeous view, plenty of towels. Lovely hosts.

We loved everything! It was perfect.
