"Lovely quiet and peaceful location."

8.0

We loved the location of the property, it was so peaceful and quiet. The cottage was cosy and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the quirky little touches. The cottage had everything we needed and the owner Becky was so friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back.

"Great location. Decent accommodation with lots of potential"

6.0

Great location. 10 mins drive to supermarkets, 10 mins to Pleasure World children's theme park, 15 mins to an excellent beach Gorleston on Sea 20 mins to Norfolk broads for a boat trip and Yarmouth. Bathroom and kitchen are renovated well however rest not so well. Electric shower with ok force. 1st floor is 2 bedrooms, and 3rd bedroom is attic conversion. House itself was good but sadly not superb like others have reported.

No freezer. Small towels given for some guests. Downstairs bathroom only. Hot water is fed via a small instant heating machine under the bathroom sink so after less than 30 seconds of usage the hot water would go cold. You would have to wait another few mins for you to get warm water again- annoying to do dishes and whilst using bathroom. Electric hob had a malfunctioned switch so when in 'off" position the hob would stay on. Little did we realise it was written on a chalk board at knee level that position 2 on hob was off. Until then we had to keep the hob main socket off to avoid a fire. Better instructions would have been useful. Wifi password written clearly would have been ideal and better instructions instead of just leaving a manual of how to control the WiFi radiators would have been appreciated. Alexa was present but no instructions on how to setup likewise there was a Bluetooth bulb in the living room lamp with no instructions on how to setup. Game boards present but bits missing and not playable so useless. There was even a mini mega drive so we got all excited to play this but no power cable to even play it with. Living room sadly also had a smokers musky smell to it which eventually settled after aerating. The living room had original tiled flooring which looks great but it wasnt homely and felt cold. The 1 watt ceiling light bulbs also make the room so dark and dull in a room that already doesnt get much light. Theres lots of spiders and cobwebs throughout the house which isnt a big deal however would have been useful to have a foldable luggage holder in each room so that the suitcase arent kept on the floor to avoid the spiders getting in. Overall house was far from superbl but at most a good basic accommodation in a decent location. There's so much potential to this property to make it a better home.

The cottage was the perfect base for our little family trip away to explore the area and the broads.good information folder provided. Good secure back garden for dogs, lovely little surprise in the twin room that we all enjoyed finding also we all loved the reclining sofas in the lounge they where amazing and comfy after a long day exploring

Bench seats may work better round the table in kitchen as it was a little bit of a squeeze to be able to walk past when people sat at table. Accomodation could sleep 6 but the lounge can only sit 4 although there was enough space that we took brown comfier kitchen chair in so we could all sit together. No freezer or washing machine was a little of a suprise I just presumed it would have these facilities being a house but again was not a problem for us due to a shorter stay. Bathroom sink tap is a little too powerful for shape and depth of the sink , managing to soak all of us at some point with the splash

"Quiet and cosy."

8.0

The property had a super location for my anxious dog because it was on a quiet lane with literally an enclosed dog field fairly opposite, also a lovely walking spot further up the lane.

The staircase is very steep and awkward so would not recommend anyone with mobility issues to book.

Lovely accommodation for a family, quiet rural location beside fields and marsh, but also within a few minutes drive of supermarkets / etc.

Everything was just right for us

Brilliant host and very cozy cottage. We spent 4 weeks there and developed good memories. Everything was thought of, especially for dogs. Internet was a little shaky but Becky sorted it out by ordering a high speed package. Highly recommended.

"Cute cottage"

Lovely cottage, good location. Nice amount of space Great shower. comfortable and clean. Good size bedrooms.

Downstairs loo. Know its normal in older properties. And not a massive problem. No freezer. Which would be bit of problem for longer stay.
