Perfect for large family

The actual locking mechanism on front door has one of only 3 screws in place, and the one was ill fitting. We felt it could easily fail and we’d be locked out so we reported this direct to Bachcare and through booking.com and received nothing back- no acknowledgement or apology and certainly no action. For something so important this was disappointing and took the edge off an otherwise fantastic stay.

One of the BEST homes we stayed in while on the South Island. Six adults with plenty of room, excellent kitchen and the hot tub worked well. The views and the home layout are remarkable.

Nothing, we would have stayed longer if the area offered more day hikes.

The house is really big with 6 bedrooms. Good Lake View. Just in front of the River. Enjoy walking along the river during Sunrise and Sunset.

There is no windows screen to block little insects flied into the house at night. No fresh air if close windows.

The location is great, beautiful view and good facilities. Easy to communicate with the host.

The location and the view! The property is also very spacious and have plenty of rooms.

The cooktop was not working properly and wifi was not given when we arrived. There was no manual on how to use the heating/AC. The air heating in the master bedroom was not working.

Wonderful house with a beautiful location near the lake with mountains in the background. Spacious and very clean. You do need a car ideally to get around and into the town.
