Very convenient for our visit

It was hot and the bedroom windows wouldn’t open…a minor issue really

Smelt musty needs a complete update No coffee Check in time 1700 and then departing at 10.00 really tight !!! Parking space really hard to negotiate and when reversing out hit stone water hydrant marker. Alot of damage to front of car. I have stayed in many houses in topsham much better and cheaper . Would be lovely if updated as very old fashioned.

The whole property was in dire need of a professional deep clean. Every bed requires new mattresses and bedding due to badly stained and very poor quality. Towels stained. Toaster & microwave were disgusting but on complaining they were replaced. The cooker was filthy with grease residue in the oven and all shelves & pans completely covered in old residue, it needs a deep clean professionally, or better still replacing. All utensils need replacing, they and some and crockery has food residue on. Kitchen floor needs a professional deep clean. Downstairs toilet is difficult to use as perched on a step without adequate room. There are 2 steps down into living room which are not mentioned in the write up so might prove difficult for the older person. There are no Pat testing labels on any electrical items, kettle one is 4 yrs out of date. The heating worked well and the shower was excellent. This little property could be a real gem especially as it has off road parking for 1 vehicle comfortably, 2 at a push, a real bonus in Topsham. After complaining through Booking.Com a partial refund was issued to me. The communication was sporadic as one of the owners was having a difficult family issue, and the other couldn’t make a decision without their permission, needs to be sorted if this venture goes forward, along with all the problems the property has. It could be a real successful venture but all the above must be sorted before letting out , legally and morally. Topsham is full of holiday properties so the competition is fierce.

The hosts were responsive and available to talk to. Great location. Secure parking and dog friendly outdoor area. Nice open plan kitchen perfect for entertaining

Tight for our big van but we got it in, l3h2 transit. Not a negative at all just for reference. Can park one vehicle in the gate. Which was great for us.
