Alla Scalinata del Teatro Rossetti confort suites parcheggio in Viale XX Settembre

Location - the apartment is situated in one of the nicest parts of Trieste and exactly 2 min walk from Politeama Rossetti theatre, that was the purpose of our visit. The beds were o.k., as well as the pillows (we had a good night sleep). There was plenty of hot water in the shower. There's a Tv in each room, including a kitchen.

Written communication with the owner, prior to our arrival was quite unpleasant - short "I told you so" answers instead of helpful explanations didn't leave much of a welcoming feeling. Check-in is quite late, at 17h, so if you arrive early and you don't arrive with your own car you'll have to use one of the self service "deposito bagagli" - there's one great near the bus and train station. The apartment key is not deposited in the box on the entrance of the building, as it is described, but you have to contact the owner to come and give you the key (which was not the problem in the end, but it's not accuratelly described). "Face to face" communication with the owner was a bit better, still, not as welcoming as one would expect. The apartment has a lot of potential but no "love" in it - it's quite outdated, some parts were extremely dirty (such as stove and the oven) and some things were even dangerous (as the broken chandelier above the bed). The linens were clean, but the blankets were without cover which od not that pleasant when you know that these are not cleaned after each guest. Overall conclusion is that the apartment is not THAT bad, could be much, much better, and with at least a little bit of welcome from the owner.

The kitchen is decent, had a lot of kitchen necessities to cook. There were free coffee capsules so we were able to make coffee for the rest of our stay. Huge space in the house, we got to have beds for all 5 of us. They provided us a secure parking but a bit far off - but okay, we appreciate that our car was safe.

The floors wasn’t very clean and made our socks very dirty. There was a lot of street noise from a bar nearby which seemed very popular. And on the building there is a few slots of parking and a pair of stair entrance that people young and mid age people hang out at - smoking joints, drinking alcohol, talking and laughing loudly, screaming all night. They are so loud, even with closed windows. They left at 2:50am on Friday night and we were only able to really sleep by then. Luckily the following nights, it was so windy and cold, there were only a few people and didn’t stay all night. I guess it’s not the owners fault on these street noises - as it is the collective behaviour on this city/area.

The place is really nice. The location is great! The apartment itself is very cleans, tidy and comfortable! Everything that you will need is there! I really want to thank to the host and the cleaning staff! Our stay was amazing!
