It was a very nice little cottage for a small family located in a quiet neighborhood. Very close to the Volcano park so it was a perfect night stay for us who planned to visit the park first thing in the morning. The host was super helpful as we received tsunami alert during the night we stayed there. She called and tried to help us with every single details regarding how to prepare for tsunami in case it does hit.

Not much store or food options nearby.

How cozy it was and the convenience to get to the Volcano national park. Beautiful scenery the cottage is nestled in. Very calm and relaxing.

"A decent stay with good location but a bare bones house"

The location close to the national park was great and it was very private

Due to no AC there were 2 loud dehumidifiers and there was a mold smell that aggravated my allergies. Suggest emptying one closet for guests to hang jackets, supply a new sponge or clean dishcloth, provide a measuring cup and measuring spoons( we needed for instant oatmeal and medication). Guests should be made aware that there is noise with the water pump every time water is turned on.
