The location right on the beach was perfect. The owner’s son was very friendly, and we really enjoyed chatting with him.

The property is perfect. The location is fantastic right along the north shore. The ocean is literally at your front door. It’s far enough away from everything but equally just a 20-30 minute drive to most of the attractions you might need while there.

Nothing. Everything was great!

Beach access was amazing, provided everything you could think of for the beach. Kitchen well stocked with cookware.

The location is unbeatable if you are looking for direct oceanfront and quiet. It was lovely to be so close to the water and not have any crowds or noise except for the waves.

Absolutely stunning location. The beach was perfect for me and my family. It had snorkeling right there. This wasn’t a beach built for boggie boarding or catching waves right on the shore. However, if you want to snorkel and see giant coral, sea turtles (we saw 5 at once just feasting feet away from the shoreline!!), monk seals, and fish galore, then you’re in luck. The water right in front of the beach houses was relatively calm when we went (beginning of May) and the perfect temperature. I could swim quite a ways out and snorkel to my hearts content, though do wear sunscreen and don’t miss the backs of your legs or it will hamper the rest of the snorkeling. There were also a few people a little ways out on surf boards that would swim to catch waves. Not sure what it’s like at other times of the year but I loved it. The beach itself was so empty- there were times where it was just me, or myself and husband. Other times were maybe 2-5 other people along a 1 mile stretch when we were there. Just divine. Town is about 10-15 minutes away and boasts some fun restaurants and shave ice. But really just stock up your fridge and never leave the beach house. In May, having no AC wasn’t too bad with the windows open (screens present in yellow house). There were two much appreciated fans that helped quite a bit. We were warm but not uncomfortable. The yellow house itself had an interesting layout where the bathroom was Jack and Jill style. The only way to enter the room with three beds is through the master or through the sliding door. But we made it work and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I hope we can return soon.

If you don’t like bugs or wildlife this isn’t your place. But it was well worth it for us. We saw so many critters- primarily outside. Though the first night we were greeted by a friendly bug eating gecko.

Just about everything! Location spectacular, comfortable beds, kitchen, cozy porch, beach chairs & umbrellas, BBQ grill (shared) and views to beat the band! This is an older property…not a swanky condo, so maybe not for everyone, but PERFECT for us!

Drain bugs (harmless but ugly). Could have used some extra blankets.
