The Stable with seasonal swimming pool

The peace, the view, the pool and the host John. Woke up to a wonderful view, sat outside with a brew, a book, with the locals hens for company followed by a morning swim. What a way to start a morning! I would definitely go back

The views, the peace and quiet, facilities were great and John the host was very friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely beautiful place. The views are incredible, the accommodation is excellent. We were looking forward to having a relaxing weekend away and Little Pentre Barn did not disappoint. Whether it was being in the pool, sitting on the decking taking in the views, or having a BBQ in this idyllic setting. Everything about it was what we hoped and more. WiFi signal isn't great but that just meant we weren't glued to our phones. Ellesmere is just a short 10min drive away and John recommended popping into the cornerhouse for breakfast, I highly recommend you pop there yourself, delicious. Will definitely be going again, and thank you John for being such a wonderful host. Was always on hand if you have any questions.

Nothing to dislike, loved every moment.

Perfect relaxation away from hustle and bustle - this stay was wonderfully relaxing in the most beautiful surrounding of countryside life...what a lovely setting the owner has... John has the most inviting fun sense of humour and is very hospitable indeed...

Peace and tranquillity, and the swimming pool. There are a variety of interesting attractions within a short distance. The advice about finding the property. You should know where you are going in advance as the roaming wifi signal is unreliable in the area. John our host was very helpful before and during our stay.

I found the sofa and the bed to be a bit too low and soft, though this is a personal thing. My husband found them ok.

1.The post code doesn’t take you to the property 2.Looking for coins to top up in order to have electricity which is not highlighted at the booking 3. The bathroom needs an extractor 4. No shower gel or shampoo as basics enjoyable
