Ruapehu Log Lodge

Awesome log house. Lovely spa on deck. Comfy beds. We only stayed one night. I would have liked a couple of nights if I'd had time

All beds are upstairs. Stairs can be tricky for accessing downstairs bathroom at night

Lodge incredibile. Bellissima e pulitissima struttura, circondati dalla splendida natura neozelandese. Gli hosts Deb e Steve super disponibili. La colazione la mattina successiva un aggiuntivo plus.

Great place. Nice and big with an awesome view.

The property was very unique, tidy and great space for our large family.

The property owner come up several times, invading our privacy when we have paid for this space.

Well stocked firewood and fires lit before we arrived-really cosy 🔥 Delicious homemade crumpets in the fridge along with butter 😎. Comfy beds and plenty of blankets and towels.

It rained 🌧️ - not an issue tho.

Great family feel and the family felt at home straight away. comfortable house and lots of entertainment for the children.

Only a small thing which was the safety of the stairs, we had two, two year olds which could have hurt themselves on the stairs due to big gaps on the hand rails. We solved this by blocking the stairs off to them so no big drama

A truly special place netsled on a hill with a prime view of the mountain. Our family of six loved our stay and are grateful to our wonderful hosts for providing such a great experience.

The setup of the lodge was something we have not seen anywhere else. The location, away from the light pollution of a bigger town, giving a view of the night sky seldom seen by people living in an urban environment. There is also home made jams and sauce available to buy. And we were provided a sample of jam, and some english muffins. Plus, who can go wrong with a pool table and spa pool? We'll be back

The staff tend to show up each morning to replenish firewood and top up the spa chemicals. Can be waiting till about 12 to be able to have a spa, and kitchen knives were blunt, i did manage to sharpen them a little, but they need professional resharpening.
