It’s a stunning property that instantly felt like home. We had some bad weather during our stay but we were quite content to relax in the cabin. There are 2 fireplaces, a spa, 3 tvs, a pool table and lots of books, games, puzzles and toys to keep everyone entertained. 2 bedrooms have wall heaters and some beds have electric blankets. Gas hot water was wonderful and home made crumpets, jam, cereal, milk and orange juice were provided. The owners have tried to think of everything so it’s a really easy, comfortable place to stay.

We absolutely loved the property but it’s important to note that the stairs are steep and all beds are upstairs. You need to keep the fires going to keep the house warm. The fires were always out by the morning so it was a little cold to wake to. This could easily be resolved by waking during the night to add wood.

Everything. Went with our family and we all love this place. The location was peaceful, the lodge is full of activities for the whole family. Leave your kitchen sink at home because the hosts have thought of everything you might need. You're missing out if you don't book this beautiful lodge
