The property is incredible. Everything you could possibly need. We self catered for our family and were able to relax and unwind after a long drive in a beautifully clean and cosy log lodge. Close to Tongariro National Park walks (and a jacuzzi for post walk soreness!) and in a town with a little supermarket with everything we could need. This was a fantastic stay and we're so grateful to our hosts. Their homemade jams are amazing - have purchased several jars to take home! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

Absolutely nothing. I have already recommended this property to friends in both Australia and New Zealand.

Great views across to Mt Ruapehu from the deck . Spacious comfortable master bedroom with modern super clean ensuite . Well equiped kitchen

A second comfortable armchair in lounge by kitchen would be nice ( but two other lounge rooms and outdoor chairs - so no shortage of places to sit!

"This place almost becomes your destination by itself."

Amazing, spacious log cabin with great views. Hosts had thought of everything even including some (presumably) home made crumpets and jam for breakfast. Fresh milk too, not the long life UHT rubbish that some place's leave for you.

Maybe just a little bit of lighting over the upstairs floor height changes would be good.

"Absolutely stunning lodge"

The house is amazing from the drive up past the pond to the highland cattle the view and the lodge itself. The structure and architecture of it is stunning. The owners were very kind and helpful ohhh we loved the jam and crumpets wow. Actually had to buy some more jam was that nice. Thank you so much we loved it.
