"Really lovely property will definitely stay again if we come back to the area."

Property is well situated and much bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside! It was extremely comfortable with good sized rooms and a well appointed kitchen. It was immaculately presented, very clean. Nice garden and outside area, which was secure for the dog.

Not much, it was a lovely place. The only slight irritation is the parking but we managed to park reasonably close during our stay.

Beautiful decor. Well equipped with ample space. Enclosed garden made it safe for dog.

Small step in the garden difficult too so easy to trip. A yellow strip would help those with poor vision and at night Parking can be a problem carrying luggage to the venue.

"Good location for walks and places to visit but shame about the state of the property."

Property has a nice fireplace for logs to keep warm. Location is good as central to Edinburgh and Glasgow. BBQ was a good touch to have to cook some food. Feminine touches in bathroom not something you often see. Property looks small from outside but surprisingly comfortable, bit of a tardis. Suitable for couples and families to stay in. Small garden out the back.

Was told 2 hrs before we got there by owners that dishwasher wasn’t available due to electrical fault, not a big issue, however very little washing up liquid and cleaning bits available so had to buy our own. Would have thought the owners would have checked this beforehand so wasn’t happy with that. Morning after arrival it became clear that the flooring throughout the property hadn’t been cleaned, carpet on stairs hadn’t been vacuumed as still dirty. We had to clean floors throughout using bucket and mop provided. Couldn’t find a vacuum to use. Again, this isn’t acceptable. It became obvious that the property hasn’t been looked after properly because the water in the bathroom was slow to drain and when using the sink, you could hear the water coming back up through the bath pipes. The garden was small which is fine but you could see it hadn’t been maintained either, lots of moss/weeds so could be slippery if not careful. By the time we got to the end of the stay, we realised that there was not enough toilet paper, only 1 and a half rolls and no other toilet paper available in the property so had to buy our own. If we had children this is a big no no, there needs to be ample basics. It made us laugh that there was plenty of children’s toys but they can’t get the basics right! Parking is available however as the property is situated on a main road I’d stress that if you are considering staying here keep any dogs on a lead and if you have small children you make sure that they are away from the traffic. If you require additional logs for the fire, these are at an extra cost of £5 per basket and it’s an extra £25 for a dog.

The overall space was great very deceiving from the front of how much space the property was, the kitchen was well appointed and the main bedroom great airy space bed very comfortable and suitable for our needs for the couple of days stay here. Downside parking issues for off loading the car.

Poor parking arrangements, door frontage does not do the property any justice it looks very tired the main door entrance you get alot of traffic noise as the road is a very busy road. The garden let's the property down it's rather small and needs some attention to decking area not to the same standard as inside the house which is really great 👍
