"Cosy February Break"

Very warm during a chilly February. Comfortable, very well appointed with lots of conveniences - especially loads of local guide books and leaflets and the custom made OS map on the wall. Boy and dog loved the big garden space. Friendly but nicely low-key welcome from owners.

Could seem a bit isolated which requires travelling each day, but lots of information on places to go and an extremely pleasant local walk just around the valley.

Amazing place to stay, everything available that you need, whether you're stopping for a night or a week. Very comfortable beds and sofas, nice area to relax after a long day walking. Great for dogs, large field for private use and a fab location for lots of walks near by. Already booked to return next year 😊

It certainly wasn't that we didn't like it, but the owners very friendly dog came to say hello (and for a cuddle 😁) but just be aware of his presence when you're entering and exiting the drive. We only saw him once, and he was off like a shot when our dogs barked at him, but just something to keep in mind when in the car or letting your own dogs out for the toilet etc, so no accidents happen 😊

"Ideal place to escape"
