The Barn at Pink Cottage

Accommodation with character. It was claen and comfortable. Nicola and Chris could not have been more helpful. It was isolated and quiet, which suited us perfectly. There was a table and chairs outside which would have been lovely to use had the wweather been better! There was good parking availablel.

The bed was comfortable but the "bedroom" is small and under the eavesl It is hardly possible to stand upright there and some might find this difficult to use. In such a small space there were no drawers or hanging spaces for clothes. The kitchen was small but equipped with a full sized cooker and microwavel There was a shortage of worksurfaces on which to prepare food.

We loved the location, in the country on a beautiful tree lined road with lovely hedgerows. Both Nicola and Chris( owners) were lovely, friendly and helpful.It is my second time here and it was just as peaceful and easy to stay in. Great to have a fridge and kitchen equipment for cooking.

Some people may find the climb to the bedroom in the roof space tricky . Not a problem for us.

A special thank you to the hosts for their kindness and attentiveness — they were always understanding and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back again!

Interesting quirky place to stay. Nicola met us on arrival and was very helpful and friendly. Everything we needed for a 2 night stay.

Just a little bit awkward accessing the bed in the loft for two old gals! Slippers would have been good as the floors are cold.

Absolutely stunning area of natural beauty. Lovely clean home and a lovely welcoming pack in cottage including tea coffee milk cakes and biscuits. The owners Nicola and Chris were absolutely lovely, very welcoming and informative on the history and best places to visit in the local area. The bed was so comfortable, it felt like sleeping on a cloud (so comfy i struggled to tear myself out of it daily)

There is nothing I did not like 😀
