1 Bus Stop Home To NYC-Hot Tub-EWR Airport-Free Parking

DO NOT BOOK THIS! DO NOT BOOK THIS! DO NOT BOOK THIS! The property is a scam. The address is fake and you will never get check-in information unless you paid a deposit $200. The wired thing is that the host requested me to pay deposit using either credit card, PayPal, or Venmo. I am not comfortable with having any transactions through a third-party, instead of Booking.com. However, I understand the host wanted some deposit and those to pay via credit card. Then the host asked me to send him/her pictures of the front and back sides of my credit card! This is absolutely insecure and I refuse to do that. I made a complaint to Booking.com and they are not helpful, even though they said the host should never ask for deposit beyond booking.com. booking did not do its job verifying whether there was really such a place.

Great for a quick in and out trips into Manhattan. The studio is a basement, however is very bright, warm and quiet. Shared parking space is a huge parking lot. The instructions made it super easy to find the property. Host was very communicative which was perfect.

Had to clean some of the glassware 2-3 times to remove dirt. Doors are self-closing in every room including the kitchen and living room. It felt awkward. The living room had a daybed in it. Some of the rooms had no heat due to the self-closing doors. There were no side tables near the beds so my phone had to charge on the floor at night. The parking instructions are strange. One must back in spaces. The driveway is awkward, filled with large stones we tripped over. It is also uneven and our car bottomed out while trying to park according to instructions. They drained the hottub about halfway through our stay with no notice. They also charge an extra $50/day if you want to use the hot tub but It was not mentioned in the description or anywhere we could see. Later they informed us it is in their profile info. While it may be close to the city, the location doesn't have much around. We had to drive to find restaurants that were open later in the evening. The heat has no control in some of the rooms so you are stuck with whatever they are set at. My room was too warm but they also request you do not open windows.

This space is good for a quick in and out trip, the studio is in a basement which is noted in the description, however is very bright, warm and quiet. The ceilings are low so it may be tricky for a tall person, also on the description not fit for someone above 6’. It is a definite plus to have a shared parking space in this area and this property has a huge parking lot. The property was easy to find. Host was very communicative which was greatly appreciated.

Truly enjoyed my stay here with my family. A nice sized house with still an intimate and at home setting. Was able to comfortably accommodate me and my family visiting. There were 8 of us total and we were more than happy. The place is clean, the parking is huge definitely fits more than 5 cars! We could cook our own food, there was everything we needed in the kitchen. We liked there area on the first floor, the TV doesn’t have cable, but has Netflix and other apps which was perfectly fine with us! There are additional charges as stated on the description, for deposit and hot tub etc. The house was nice and warm, just let the host know what temperature you like and it can be adjusted per room which is really cool.

It’s a very nice place! We loved it, cute, cozy, had everything we needed for our stay! Everything was as stated in the description, so there were no surprises for us. The ceiling was kind of low as stated on the description but we are not tall so was not a problem. The location was excellent, less than 10 minutes from Newark Airport. Easy transportation to NYC with the express bus, you get right to 42nd street, much more convenient than going by car. The parking was shared, but communication was excellent. We used the hot tub and it was great. Make sure to read the full description and the rules, there are additional charges for the hot tub but truly worth it! There is a kitchenette, so don’t expect to have a full size kitchen or stove however there was a BBQ GRILL outside as well as a cozy the fire pit, which was quite romantic.
