Hillocks Cottage, Kniveton

The cottage was nice and spacious with the added benefit of a downstairs toilet. It was lovely and clean and nice and warm. The kitchen had all we needed and the beds were nice and comfy. The living room was warm and cosy. Overall we had a nice relaxing stay.

The TV in the living room is small for the size of the room and could benefit from having access to iplayer and itv x and other streaming services. The cottage is on a busy road, and parking was a little difficult and a short walk from the property. The cottage is a little creaky so keeping little ones asleep could be a challenge! This does add to the character of the property though.

Cosy. Warm. Lovely location. Everything we needed apart from a potato masher! Close to lovely pub.

Only downside was parking. No parking outside cottage.

Cottage was warm and comfortable, everything was clean and well looked after. Had everything we needed, and complimentary tea, coffee and milk upon arrival was welcomed and appreciated.
