Hillocks Cottage, Kniveton

We loved our stay at hillocks cottage, perfect location, lovely cottage and it was cozy warm from when we arrived throughout our stay without us having to do anything. Kitchen has everything you need to cook good family meals and the cottage has so much character and space it suited us brilliantly with 2 older children ( also the WiFi was v good to keep the kids happy) Beautiful village with lovely walks and close to so many places to visit, we especially liked Dovedale, Ashbourne, Thors cave and Alton Towers 😀

Parking can be tricky but after a couple of days you find places that are OK and it can't be helped as the cottage was there before cars were a thing.

Lovely little cottage. It was very cosy with lots of books and games to keep you occupied in the evenings

The beds were really uncomfortable. Not one of us had a good night's sleep during our stay

Perfect location. Everything we needed was provided. There was a problem with a leak from the shower into kitchen, but Mike responded straight away. Lovely, comfortable home with a great pub right next door 😀
