Incredible location, beautiful walled garden, very well equipped kitchen, cosy and very comfortable living room with great woodburner, comfortable beds, great quality linens and bedding.

Generally very well equipped but a spatula and some kitchen roll would have been good.

Lovely cottage and the location was spot on for us. Fantastic walks direct from driveway and woolacombe bay is wonderful. We went early in season so most facilities in village weren’t open yet but still absolutely loved it.

Few items missing in kitchen like tea towel and only 2 dessert spoons and fish slice but that didn’t effect a fantastic break. There will always be something as we are all different.

The log fire was a big comfort, we loved the overall quietness of the place.

Could have been a bigger space in the bathroom around the toilet.

This was the most perfect location for walks with the dogs and the local amenities. It was walking distance to the Chichester Arms. Mailscot was very cosy with the added bonus of having an enclosed garden.

We had no dislikes.

Having stayed here previously we knew we wouldn't be disappointed. The cottage is perfect and in a great location for walks and local pubs. We had the huge garden to ourselves which kept our four legged boy very happy. We shall be returning next year loved it.

Can't really fault it it's ideal if we were being picky and additional W.C but that would not stop us from booking again.

Wonderful location in a great village with fantastic walking, lovely places to eat and fabulous beaches nearby. The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.

The location was great and the property very spacious. We rented all 3 properties for a family gathering of 4 families so suited us very well. The properties were well supplied with kitchen equipment and plenty of games. We enjoyed the spacious garden and made use of all the surfing equipment and the barbecue

The two cottages were nicely decorated but the main house was a little tired.

Badezimmer waren sauber, Betten waren frisch bezogen, Garten schön und gepflegt.

Wohnung ist schlecht unterhalten, vieles alt, defekt und z.T. ziemlich schäbig und schmuddelig. Wohnung benötigt dringend ein Update. Küche: Boden, Arbeitsflächen, Tisch … alles klebrig. Küchenutensilien wie Pfannen nicht wirklich gebrauchstauglich. Geschirr musste man zuerst reinigen, z.T. ungenügende Anzahl. Alle der angepriesen Spiele sind defekt, fehlen Teile sind nicht zu gebrauchen. Mobiliar und Einrichtungsgegenstände wie auch Duvet und Kissen sind alt und ebenfalls zT. aus dem letzten Jahrhundert. Das Wohnzimmer und das sogenannte Esszimmer (Entreé) wurde von niemandem gerne genutzt: Feucht, stickig, ungepflegt. Wir verbrachten in den letzten 30 Jahren unsere Ferien in vielen Cottages, aber noch nie hatten wir eine so schlechte Qualität. Fenster und Türen liessen sich zum Teil nicht richtig öffnen oder schlissen. Die Unterkunft entspricht einem schlecht unterhalten Ferienlagerhaus und ist absolut überteuert. £ 3500.- für 2 Wochen (4 Personen) in der Nebensaison ist schon ziemlich frech, und dies ohne wöchentlich Reinigung ohne neue Wäsche für die 2. Woche.
