Rose Cottage: Delightful 4 bedroom detached home

This is a self contained B&B, there is no face to face interaction with the host. You bring your groceries if you are staying awhile. There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate, salt & pepper, the essentials for a one night stay. The house was close to downtown.

No face to face interaction with the host. I would recommend having the heat on before your guests arrive and perhaps this does happen. We were a last minute booking, so not really the fault of the host.

The bed was comfortable. Excellent location, a short walk into town.

Everything looked very tired & the property would benefit from extensive refurbishment

The property was lovely and cosy anything we needed was right on hand even an electric blanket on the bed as our first night there was a cold horrible evening so it was lovely to have that added bonus it was in a great location definitely lovely place to stay

The property was so cute..! And lovely and warm..! The walking distance to the town centre was perfect..!!

Nothing, well maybe the neighbours didn’t seem to nice haha..! But loved it and will definitely book again..!

Lovely wee cottage its our third year here as a family location is fantastic, 5 mins away from everything.

The weather lol typical of our country rained all the time while wee were their, nothing anyone could do about that lol

The location was a straight walk from the train station and center of town, 10 minutes. Lovely quiet street. Has everything we needed.

The couch was comfortable but didn't look very appealing.

Very clean and comfortable, excellent communication and very friendly hosts.

We only stayed one night so had a little bit of an issue getting to grips with the hot water system for the shower, despite very detailed instructions left by the host.

Fabulous location with a beautiful front garden. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. The host was reachable when needed.

It’s wasn’t the cleanest and could do with some modernising and fixing up in places. Some of the doors didn’t close and there were a few holes in plaster and small patches of mould in rooms. Not great kitchen utensils and the sofa cushions didn’t fit the sofa so it was uncomfortable.

The home is lovely and comfortable and a 10 min walk to main attractions in Portrush. The host was great at communicating

Cosy home in good location.. ideally situated for exploring the beautiful causeway coast area. Very pretty garden to sit in with a coffee. Everything you would need for comfort and convenience for a family holiday

Only criticism... as with all holiday homes we have stayed in there was only a two slice toaster!!.. not great for a hungry family all wanting toast for breakfast. However this is only a minor grievance.
