The Retreat

The cottage is set in a gorgeous location, looking out over the fields. We enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pool and found the rooms very comfortable and well set up.

Fantastic accommodation and Trevor and Sue are really friendly hosts who did everything they could to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Everything we needed for our 1 year old daughter was provided, all of a very high quality which made things so much easier for us. Great walks on our doorstep, and the New Forest only 5 minutes drive away and lots of information provided that was hugely useful. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

It was beautifully set, secure and private. Sue gave us a warm welcome on arrival (and some tasty biscuits). The property itself was immaculately clean, with stylish yet homely decorations and well kitted out with all the amenities. The gardens and grounds were beautiful and there was even a swimming pool which would be great in the summer. Set just on the edge of the New Forest national park meant it was close by to visit and also to get into Salisbury for bigger shops too.

There was nothing we didn’t like but we were confounded as we found no chopping board in the kitchen.

The apartment was perfect, very clean, everything we needed for a peaceful weekend, the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in!!!

There was absolutely nothing to complain about!!!
