"A wonderful gem in the New Forest"

We have just returned from our week stay at The Retreat and what a stay it was. The accommodation was amazing and had everything we needed. Our daughter loved her den in the living room - playing and sleeping there. The private garden was lovely to sit, drink tea and see the sheep roam around in the morning. Plus a perfect spot to see the Milky Way on a clear star filled night. The location is perfect with a great little pub up the road with super friendly staff and games, to the next village of Downtown for a tasty Chip Shop visit. It was super easy to get to Salisbury town centre, plus take an adventure drive to see the wild horses, cows, donkeys and even deers on a night drive. Everything at the property was of a high standard, super comfy bed and plenty of games provided for entertainment. We absolutely loved our stay and have been telling everyone how wonderful it has been since we got home. So glad we discovered and booked The Retreat for our family holiday.
