"Photos can be deceiving …"

Quiet & secluded

The property could do with a few more touches. The duvet was stained and the towels were old and had seen better days. The internet was intermittent and I needed this to work. Rang the proprietors but never got a call back.

"Disappointing Rothbury"

Comfortable bed and beautiful surrounding countryside

Need to be fit and able to walk into Rothbury. No shaving point in bathroom. Very poor quality towels. Only 3 teaspoons!

Design and decor. Kitchen/Dining amenities excellent. Comfortable bed and coverings. Convenient parking area. Outlook from parking area.

Marketing using old photo misleading. Poor maintenance, sitting room outlook. Absence of bedside tables and shelving near bathroom basin/ bath for accessories. Bookcase door in sitting area. (As an avid whodunnit reader, this was worrying late at night!).
