"Cosy and comfortable"

A gorgeous little apartment in a perfect location for exploring the hills and Cragside. The property had everything you need including one of the best equipped kitchens we've had. We look forward to returning in the future.

Good location

Certain areas windows and ledges could do with a wipe down as well as paintwork on doors . Mugs not clean and a few plates had to be re washed.

"Beautiful place to visit"

It was an excellent place to relax and recharge during a road trip around the UK. The place is clean and the bed super comfortable. Walked the path to the village which is a steep but doable path. Went to see Cragside, and highly recommend going to see it! The owners were helpful and friendly!

"A great stay and would recommend Little Heatherlea"

We had a great stay at Little Heatherlea.The large bed was very comfortable and the shower(over the bath) was powerful with lots of hot water with complimentary hand wash,shower gel,shampoo,conditioner and body lotion available.The location was great with footpaths on the doorstep including a 10 minute walk to the centre (a little steep so strenuous on the return trip ).There is lots to do in the area Cragside being the highlight but a perfect base for exploring this beautiful part of the country.

The car park space was fine for us but may be a little tight if you have a very large vehicle.

"Very relaxing place to stay"

Extremely quiet, perfectly clean and comfortable apartment. Ben and Adele were very helpful before and during my stay. I'd definitely recommend it. Also, walking down the drive and then left takes you through some trees and up a public footpath (through field of sheep) higher up the ridge for some lovely views

"Exceptional"

Location was perfect and easy to find with owner's directions. Very quiet. The property was very clean and accessible. Very comfortable bed. The kitchen is very well designed with plenty of good quality crockery and cutlery. Seatng area outside was lovely and we listened to a range of birds in the evening. Would definitely return in the future
