Little Heatherlea

Fabulous little place, close to the lovely town of Rothbury with walks into the hills just outside the back door

The cottage was very cosy and comfortable with all you needed to make meals at home. It was also in a nice position for taking in the views of the scenery round about and a short walk to the town. The friendly owner called round to check we were ok which was a nice touch.

The only downside was the garden furniture was basic and uncomfortable. It would have been nice to have more comfy chairs so you could enjoy the view.

Pohodlné, prostorné ubytování, výborná koupelna, super tlak vody, dobře vybavená kuchyně. Dobrá základna pro poznávání Národního parku Northumberland a spousty památek v okolí.

Bed was super comfy and wonderful to see so much wildlife. Pristine condition and big fluffy bath towels Lots of books and a decent Tv. Village is easy to access on foot or by car and very friendly with decent shops. Great walks locally and fairly close to main towns and places to visit

Parking would be challenging with a larger car or if you were a less confident driver

The apartment is fantastic. It has all the amenities you could possibly need – and even more. It’s beautifully decorated and very stylish. The hosts are truly exceptional: warm, welcoming, and attentive. Every request was fulfilled immediately. The parking space is more than sufficient and very easy to use. The view from our terrace was also fantastic – we could see the mountains and take in so many wonderful impressions.

Well kitted out with almost everything you could need. Lovely house.

Everything was clean, right in town centre. Towels available, soaps and shampoo. Kitchen was stocked with all utensils needed, glasses, plates etc. 10 minute drive from Craigside national trust site too!
