Little Heatherlea

Greeted by the friendly owner on arrival, property lovely and cozy just the right size for a weekend break. Bed huge and really comfy. Had everything we needed including a welcome bottle of wine - thank you much appreciated! Had a walk round the woodland at the back of the property and around Rothbury whilst there. Sunday headed to The Star Inn at Harbottle - lovely friendly pub serving great food. A fantastic all round stay finished off by a visit to Cragside on the way home.

Peaceful location with great walks nearby. Only a few minutes walk from town. Excellent communications and directions. I can't imagine anyone finding fault with the apartment. Very highly recommended.

Heating was only on in the mornings and evenings so the apartment got slightly cool during the day.

Gorgeous little cottage to stay o for the weekend had everything we needed and the bed was incredibly comfortable

Everything was clean and as described/shown in the pictures. The host gave us a quick know to check everything was ok, which was much appreciated. Me and my girlfriend had a great weekend in Rothbury.

A lovely place for a couple to spend time relaxing. Excellent communication with owner. Immaculate, warm, comfortable, large bed, well equipped kitchen, modern, parking space. It’s a short walk into Rothbury town and a on the doorstep to lots of walks with amazing views. Thank you for the bottle on arrival. We were also lucky to get some eggs for breakfast from their cute hens. We didn’t want to leave. A hidden gem.
