Modern upside down property with hot tub

The house was amazing with plenty of space. We absolutely loved the open plan living area, as it was great to relax after a busy day out and about. The bedrooms were well thought through with lots of storage space. Hairdryers provided too which is a big bonus. The hot tub is a really lovely touch and the outdoor seating area was very comfy although the covers could do with a wash as they weren't the cleanest. We used the hot tub and outside area quite a few times.

Although the property appeared very clean and tidy the floors were unfortunately not. After an hour or so of walking around our feet were black. There wasn't a handle on the bath in the main bathroom and unfortunately my father took a tumble out of the bath. Luckily he only winded himself but he said that if there was something for him to hold onto on getting out of the bath this wouldn't have happened. The road is extremely busy but we were already aware of this from previous comments so we weren't too concerned. The en-suite could do with privacy screening on it's window as it's not opaque so when the blind is open, people outside can see straight in! Possibly more crockery is needed as we were using the dishwasher every day rather than when it was full.

Very clean, spacious and the bed was so comfy

The property is beautiful! We loved the ‘upside down’ concept. The bedrooms were all spotless and we all slept wonderfully, beds very comfortable. The upstairs space was wonderful, bright and airy yet really cosy. Everything was clean, tidy and well equipped. The bonus was the hot tub which we really enjoyed, again it felt very clean. We will definitely be back!

Great location, and it is a beautiful house. Host was accommodating with an early check in.

Cleanliness of property not up to standard. Which is a shame as it is a lovely house. Awful smell of damp as you first enter the property. Advertised as with BBQ, however, no BBQ at property.

The busy road meant noise was significant, especially as being hot weather the windows were open for cooler air. Although advertised as dog friendly, the open spiral staircase meant constant concern about the dog going up or down on his own. Luckily he was small enough to be carried. In addition, the outside enclosed space was all concrete, and no grass, so I had to walk him for all toilet breaks.

Lovely property and great outdoor area and private. Love the upside down layout bedrooms Lovely and good bathroom facilities. Host was helpful and responded timely to questions.

House is right on a busy road. When windows open traffic noise bad and constant. However that is a personal preference. Kitchen could have been slightly better equipped.

Loved the layout and how spacious it was. The beds were super comfy and the fire stick in the main bedroom was a nice touch. There was also WiFi which on the booking it said there wasn’t any so this was a nice surprise! Overall we loved our stay!

We were disappointed that there wasn’t a bbq as advertised as we bought lots of bbq food prior to arriving. The chlorine level in the hot tub was way too high it stung our eyes and ruined my jewellery on the first night. But we still enjoyed it the other nights. Also the shower in the main bedroom was scalding hot and was no option to turn the heat down. Also not that this could be helped but the road noise was quite disturbing as it was so hot we had all the windows open. But again this wasn’t a fault this was just a little inconvenience with the heat but nothing we couldn’t cope with!
