"All round okay though, world go again if there was instant hot water."

7.0

- The let looks lovely and cosy. - Sofa and bed very comfortable.

- The hot water didn't work, it appeared to be a very ancient water tank system that wasn't convenient if we even figured out how to heat it. We used kettle water to wash. - Our friend had to go through the big bedroom in order to get to his room, I couldn't see on the posting that this was the case, should point out it's more a family let and there is that privacy issue. - The hard wearing carpet is painful on bare feet. Really painful. - The instruction book was missing instructions on how the bins are operated there. Seems general and recycling both go in the same bin in separate bags. We figured it but it would be handy for future guests.

"Cute little cottage in the heart of the village, very close to the beach. Lovely stay"

9.0

Great location, quiet and relaxing. Comfy beds and lovely décor. The bottle of cold wine in the fridge was a lovely and surprising touch!

The extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and could be heard throughout the house. Fine once it turned off though. The shelf in the toilet was not properly attached to the wall.

"Compact fisherman’s cottage in great beach location."

8.0

The location is stunning - the cottage is beautifully decorated with lovely furniture, crockery, cushions, towels and bedding. The beach is incredible - lovely swimming in the sea with RNLI lifeguards.

Not ideal accessing the second bedroom through the first and up some steep ‘ladder’ stairs. Second bedroom is very small with pitched ceiling and bed under eaves. Not ideal for adults or taller people. If we’d stayed longer, we may have struggled to cook with only a microwave.

"A cosy retreat in a perfect location"

7.0

The location was brilliant and the instructions to find the cottage were easy to follow. The cottage was very clean and the decor was lovely.

There was only one toilet roll provided for a family of four. The main bed mattress was sloping down at one side which made it less comfortable. There was quite a lot of rules for leaving the property which felt a bit cheeky considering there is a cleaning fee of £80!!!

"Beautiful location, spotlessly clean, uncomfortable to sleep in."

8.0

The bed in the main bedroom was not good on one side. My partner said it sloped and he felt he was falling out. I tried it to see what he was referring to and it was dreadful. Thankfully we were only there 2 nights. We could not have endured anymore than that in the bed. My son is 19 and has a learning disability. The 2nd bedroom which is up very steep steps had a single bed that he could use but the sloping ceilings made it very impractical to move around in without bumping backs snd heads.
