La Palazzata

Sehr modern, gut ausgestattet und sehr komfortabel für eine vierköpfige Familie. Die Terrasse ist toll! Für das Frühstück war es leider zu heiß (außer man ist Frühaufsteher), aber am Abend war die Terrasse einfach top! Für kleine Kinder bzw. ältere Menschen würde ich es nicht empfehlen, da die Stufen sehr steil sind. Für alle anderen: Go for it wenn ihr ein stylisches Apartment/Stadthaus sucht! Der Parkplatz Talete ist quasi ums Eck (€15,-/24 Stunden), allerdings ist es auch hier in der Hochsaison ab spätestens 19 Uhr mühsam einen Parkplatz zu bekommen! Restaurant Tipp: Divino Mare - wir waren 2x dort, unglaublich gut!

The handrail on the staircase up to the patio is useless. No other adverse comments. Enjoyable stay.

Location second to none, house clean and comfortable with all mod cons. Roof terrace was the cherry on top.

Could have had a sun lounger on the terrace and the main shower head could be difficult to switch to. All minor considerations in a thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable stay

Very comfortable refurbished apartment. The host sent videos of how to enter the gate and home. The main living area is on the second floor. The third floor is an open porch with views of the roofs of Ortigia.

The water pressure was low probably depending on the time of day.

It was SO quirky, cute, bright and comfortable. Balconies and the rooftop were perfect for meals, playing cards or just relaxing. The washing machine and drying rack were so appreciated. The renovation is just perfect and we were all so impressed by all the details and clever designs. Location could not have been better! Short walk to everything. Very, very hard to leave!

Beds were very, very soft. Main bedroom ensuite had a strong sewerage smell. Showers didn’t work on overhead and the fitting for hand held was way too low.

The plumbing in the property is very noisy We were woken each night approximately three times with a noise that sounded like a waste disposal unit whirling that lasted about 10 seconds, no water was being used have no idea what it was but very loud. So not much sleep. It would be beneficial to advise on website that no toilet paper can be flushed down the toilet, but needs to be placed in a bin. We would not have stayed in the property if we had known this. There is a strong smell of damp in the entrance, which owners try to mask with strong air fresheners, plaster and paint is blowing off wall at the bottom of the stairs which needs urgent attention, we did not use the downstairs lounge area for that reason, its not good for your health. The two rain shower soakers in the bathrooms are not working, only the hand held shower - not ideal. I contacted the owner about it and was told, basically it was a big job that needed the tile and plaster taken off the wall to repair. If you are renting a property you need to effect repairs as well as take the income! The stairs inside the property are very steep, especially the ones to the outside terrace, which we thought were dangerous as the hand rail only covers just over half the length of the staircase. On a positive note, the property is centrally located, the kitchen appeared to be well equipped and once you were on the sun deck it was a nice place to sit. Apart from the internal property noises it is in a quiet area, although a bit run down.
