La Palazzata

The location of the property was central to all of the sites, quiet and safe. The apartment was a great value and the rooftop terrace was awesome! We had difficulty with our GPS finding the parking, and the host was patient in giving directions and waiting for us at the apartment.

We were a little confused about what to do with the trash considering the long list in Italian of days for collection of different items. Procuring more coffee pods to fit the coffee maker was difficult since we are not familiar with that type of coffee maker in the U.S. We ended up spending money for a box of pods that didn't fit.

great location in old town. comfortable bedrooms. great roof deck. loved the basket of toys for kids to play with. they provided a cot for baby. great location near morning market area as well as sites, shops and restaurants

there was no real gathering area (living room) near kitchen. it would have been nice to have a sofa/sitting area there. downstairs room with sofa bed might have worked but we were using it as a bedroom. roof deck not always usable because of weather. no surprise but lots of steep stairs between levels.

The location was right in the middle of the historic centre and close to the daily market. The communication with the host was excellent, he let us drop off our bags early and was very responsive. The terrace was a great place to relax at the end of the day!

The bed spread was stained so we had to wash it. And unfortunately the coffee maker stopped working on the third day of our stay.

Loved the location in central Ortygia. Very clean, quiet and secure. Well equipped kitchen. Excellent coffee machine. Sunny balcony and lovely large terrace with additional kitchen facilities. Happy to recommend.

Would have liked a full length mirror in the apartment, sunbeds on the terrace and a removable shade for sunbathing.
