Amazing stay upon arrival was some home baked goods and milk .. perfect accommodation.. great location we couldn't have had a better week for the weather aswell .. thank you to the hosts truly made our little family get away memorable

Gorgeous location and a fabulous place to explore the beauty of the local area with a friend. The cottage is delightful, with lots of cosy touches and Oriel could not have been more welcoming and accommodating, particularly with a last minute request.

My only small concerns were a couple of potential trip hazards in the living area which could have been highlighted to keep us aware and the lack of a bannister rail on the fairly steep, narrow stairs, helpful for us older visitors. We loved our stay.

The cottage was in a lovely location, a small little village close enough to everything we wanted to do - it was a great base for the Brecon Beacons and surrounding area. It was a comfortable place to stay and beautifully decorated. The hosts left some Welsh cakes and milk in the fridge on our arrival which was a lovely surprise and very appreciated.

However, we found that the TV very rarely worked well. Most of the time the dialogue wasn’t linked to the image - no matter what app was used. And it was very slow but we found that this was a wifi issue as our phones also struggled. We also found the hot water to be temperamental - it would go from warm to freezing to boiling hot and then freezing again in a matter of seconds - made it very uncomfortable to have showers and difficult to wash up.

The cottage was so welcoming especially the Welsh cakes ready for our arrival! Very clean and everything you would need for your stay is there! See you next year hopefully!

De locatie is super. Als je vanuit het cottage naar rechts ging (richting de quarry) is het geweldig wandelen met prachtige uitzichten. We hebben tussen de wilde paarden, koeien en schapen gelopen, heel apart De cottage had een fije douche en goede keuken met alle benodigde zaken

Trefil is een klein dorp zonder enige voorzieningen. Voor een restaurant, pub of supermarkt moet je naar Tredegar of Ebbw Vale. De cottage zelf rook wat muf en is gedateerd. Alles kraakt, de bedden waren te kort als je 1,80 bent, en de afvoer van de wastafel liep slecht weg

I loved the location. It was a great place for a quiet getaway. The house is beautiful and the garden is darling. It is a very cosy place. In my 3 day stay, I experienced rainy weather, which was lovely to cosy up by the log fire, and when we had a sunny day, the location was lovely to have a nice stroll. There were nice and clear instructions for dealing with recycling in the area and a lovely folder with lots of information on the house and the area. The furniture is very comfortable and the kitchen is up to date, the shower is spacious and the entire house is very clean. The hosts are lovely people and are always only a message away during the entire stay and do reply quite quickly. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again.

I loved everything.

Excellent location in the village, easy to park. Good base for exploring the area. Can recommend walking up to the naughty stone for amazing views. Property was very clean and modern, lovely and warm.
