very well set up cottage- great option for a base for a few days hiking in the area.

such a shame that the garden was so overgrown and unloved! It could have been such a nice spot to enjoy if it had been cared for!

Good location. Lovely little cottage.

Garden not private. Got disturbed by an aggravated local as we hadn’t parked our car in a desirable position. We didn’t realise we need to be facing the road.

The cottage was lovely, well equipped in the kitchen with tea, coffee, cooking oil etc so you don't need to bring loads of stuff with you. You wake up to the birds and sheep. This place was so relaxing. Situated well for Sugarloaf mountain and Pen Y Fan if walkings your thing. You can also go for great walks straight up the road towards the quarry. Would recommend this cottage to stay in.

Such a gem of a cottage - only a few miles from Tredegar for ease of access to supermarkets etc but that incredible feeling of space and countryside even straight out of the garden. It also helped that we were treated to lovely sunny weather so we were out all day, but even if we hadn't been the cottage would have been a cozy space to hide from the rain and relax in comfort. Oriel is a lovely host (-:
