Delightful setting, clean, comfortable, well equipped, good beds.

The beautiful setting! Peace and quiet just minutes from town.

Took a bit of time to work out the hot water system…but good in the end.

Don’t think the time switch was working effectively and we had no hot water at certain times. But we managed to overcome the problem ourselves. Perhaps some instructions in the manual would help.

Lovely location and peaceful

The property was very clean and comfortable. Good location for us. Lots of parking. Free wifi.

The bathroom was rather tired, though very clean and the shower pressure not great.

It was perfect total enjoyed every moment I had my birthday and spent the day with my daughter and grandkids first time in 5years

The beds were comfy

Boswell Farm We stayed in The Grannery, 4 nights Dec to Jan Be aware photos are not true to how it looks now!!! The setting is lovely lots of walks, a beautiful stream, tennis courts by the main house. There is an old barn next to car park with a table tennis table , tennis rackets to borrow and children's push along cars and bikes. The children's play area is not how looks on photo aware its winter time but tired! No TEA, COFFEE OR SUGAR although it shows in the photo. Didn't bring our own (rookie mistake) especially after a long drive!! The kettle smelt like burning plastic when it boiled i text, e mailed and messaged through booking.com for a new one but no one replied. There was cooking equipment and an old bottle of cooking oil. And out of date (Yuk) lots of pans roasting tins etc. A 4 slice toaster A dishwasher and a dish of dishwasher tablets. The microwave was disgusting full of rust and old food Washing up bowl, oven gloves, dish cloth and a towel Comfy sofa and large wall mounted TV The beds were very comfy! Bedding smelt lovely and clean. But the curtains were so thin and there was a light on all night outside another holiday cottage on the complex which drove us mad. Just need thicker curtains There were lots of cobwebs everywhere! Mouldy walls and pipes in bathrooms and scum around the bath. Under the toilet seat in the main bathroom there are disgusting stains and on the back of the toilet! Not the best shower but did the job. Electric wall heaters. Was a bit cold in evenings in the sitting room. Tried to contact the owners whilst on our stay but they didn't return any our messages. There is a laundry room. There was bedding and towels washed and wet in the machine when we arrived on the Monday and still there on the Friday when I left!! The items in the cupboard are not very clean and pretty sure that with the tidy instructions you receive they just do the bare minimum.
