Suite ortigia vista mare

The owner Angelo gave us lots of information about the property before we arrived and although was out of town when we were there he responded to any text messages immediately and often messaged us just to check everything was ok. We found him very helpful and friendly. The apartment faces east so got quiet hot as the sun came up but the air con worked great so kept it a lovely cool temperature. Angelo has a bench and table right outside the door , my wife and I really enjoyed sitting there at night with a glass of wine looking out to sea watching the cruise ships head out . The apartment has wonderful, quirky decor with a lit glass floor covering beautiful shells and sand making the room really special. Would definitely stay there again.

Not much , we couldn't find a corkscrew but maybe didn't look hard enough so not really a complaint.

This suite is a one of a kind experience. Not only do you find yourself on first row to the Mediterranean, but from the very minute you press the codes and enter the suite, you step into a unique combination of limestone vaults, a sandy beach (underneath glass floor) and a modern hi-tech flat. It's enchanting, and even though small, you'll find all you need. In the fridge, the host left a bottle of wine to be enjoyed on the bench just outside the suite. Did I mention the nearby beach only 200m away? A real nice place to swim and watch the sun rise.

Location was perfect, host was amazing and went above and beyond at every turn. The apartment was just spectacular.

The space is super small, but it is charming! The location - exceptional! The view - breathtaking. Check in was extremely easy - Anglo is a great host that made sure we have all the needed information before we arrived and there was a bottle of wine waiting for us! If like me you are wondering where the bathroom is - it is behind the bed, so you might want to share the place with some you’re very close to ;)

Our car got towed which was super stressful. Angelo came and drove us to the parking lot that was across Syracusa and was very helpful, but we still ended up paying a 55 euro fine. My recommendation would be to park on a lot (about 20 euros) and not on the street in order to avoid this unnecessary stress and just enjoy the amazing island of Ortigia.

Little bit small, the bed is folded bed but comfortable

The location was fantastic there was parking on site and once we found the apartment the access was very simple.

The room was very small and the sofa bed was just ok
