Great location

If you want to feel the real charm of Ortigia, then this is the place for you. Very good location and very responsive host. Thank you very much Angelo for your responsiveness, kindness and great wine!

-amazing location, right near the beach, a few minutes away from good restaurants, near the bus stop -sea view from the bed -you can find anything you need, sun umbrellas, drying table etc

-it’s a bit cramned

What a brilliant host - Angelo made sure that everything was in place for our stay and we didnt need to ask for anything. The views of the sea from the apartment are stunning and you will not find better anywhere else in Ortigia. A particular highlight was enjoying an espresso catching the sunrise or a beer/ wine to watch the sunset, Angelo also gave us a lovely bottle of wine for us to enjoy on our first night. In addition, there is very accessible street parking less than 1 min walk away. The perfect place to stay when in Ortigia.

Super communicative and helpful host, superb location of a cosy room with a beautiful seaside view

What can I complain? Nothing. Extremely good location, minutes walk away from not just one, but two beaches, beautiful outdoor sofa facing the Ionian sea, great way to spend an evening with wine. Yes it is a budgt guest house, but the view is luxury.

As a solo female traveller I personally did not like or feel safe in this property which was a sofa bed in a tiny room which was mildew smelling and lights came on and off throughout the night set of by a sensor that seems to be outside the property. I had booked 3 nights but left after 1. The host was very understanding and accomodating of my discomfort so while the room was not for me the host was very helpful. When booking people should be aware this is a room with a sofa bed that takes up the entire space so you can’t really move about.

- Great location, next to the shore and close to all attractions - Easy access to the room using two door codes - Low daily rate compared to other nearby places - Good A/C unit

- Very small room, hard to navigate inside - Glass floors are exotic but unpractical and somewhat dangerous for walking - Folding sofa is not comfortable for sleeping - No parking at the premises - No free breakfast option - Pictures on Booking.com don't reflect reality of the property accurately - Many small elements of decor that are unnecessary and don't add value - Small kitchen appliances are unnecessary for short stay and take much valuable space - More suitable for youngsters rather than mature couples
